Project Manager - Construction

What functions will you perform?
ID Energy Group is currently looking for a Project Manager – Construction (renewables energy) for a permanent position, with experience on the EPC of utility scale solar projects to join our Construction Management Team in Budapest, Hungary. 
The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the assigned projects throughout their life cycle and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget, while minimizing risks and maximizing margins on a variety of projects. The Project Manager will report directly to the Head of Operations.

Key responsibilities:
-
Unsure project metrics comply with HSE, budget, time and quality criteria and policies
- Coordinate internal departments (Construction, Project Development, Procurement, Quality, HSE, Legal, Finance, Asset Management, etc.)
- Closing EPC contract negotiation with Clients
- Estimate the project budget and cash flow
- Follow up cost controlling to avoid deviations
- Manage contract negotiations, change orders, and other agreements with EPC subcontractors and vendors, and oversee all subcontractors’ work in all phases
- Supervise project timeline, identify critical path and key milestones for project’s success
- Communication with stakeholders (client, utilities and authorities) having jurisdictions regarding interconnection, permitting, and other regulatory compliance issues
- Identify the sources of likely problems and proactively take preventive measures to avoid any potential project risks, and determine response actions to mitigate any negative impact 



Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related Engineering fields (electrical licensing strongly preferred)
- PMP certification is a strong advantage
- Proven track record of 2+ years of utility-scale EPC solar project management experience, including ground mount projects over 10 MW
- Proficient in Hungarian and advanced in English
- Experience in contractual documentation and technical specifications, basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices·
- Demonstrate good experience in supply contracts, budgets, cash flows, time schedules and tender experience
- Experience in EPC negotiations
- Strong ability to lead and influence project stakeholders to obtain desired outcomes
- Strong leadership and communication skills, self-motivated with demonstrated problem-solving capability
- Advanced proficiency in Construction Management Software (ideally Microsoft Project) and MS Excel 
Other
- Driving license ("B" type)
- Flexibility to travel to project sites in various locations whenever necessary and/or stay abroad for periods of time
