What functions will you perform?
ID Energy Group is currently looking for a Project Manager – Construction (renewables energy) for a permanent position, with experience on the EPC of utility scale solar projects to join our Construction Management Team in Budapest, Hungary.
The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the assigned projects throughout their life cycle and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget, while minimizing risks and maximizing margins on a variety of projects. The Project Manager will report directly to the Head of Operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Unsure project metrics comply with HSE, budget, time and quality criteria and policies
- Coordinate internal departments (Construction, Project Development, Procurement, Quality, HSE, Legal, Finance, Asset Management, etc.)
- Closing EPC contract negotiation with Clients
- Estimate the project budget and cash flow
- Follow up cost controlling to avoid deviations
- Manage contract negotiations, change orders, and other agreements with EPC subcontractors and vendors, and oversee all subcontractors’ work in all phases
- Supervise project timeline, identify critical path and key milestones for project’s success
- Communication with stakeholders (client, utilities and authorities) having jurisdictions regarding interconnection, permitting, and other regulatory compliance issues
- Identify the sources of likely problems and proactively take preventive measures to avoid any potential project risks, and determine response actions to mitigate any negative impact
